COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Police have arrested a Fort Carson soldier in a series of solicitation cases, several involving young girls.
"This investigation started on April 28th when the suspect in a red truck approached a victim and offered her $100 to watch him masturbate," police said.
There were several more incidents in May including one involving a woman at Chapel Hills Mall and one involving two high school-aged girls.
The teens told police a man drove up and said he was lost and asked for directions.
Both girls refused to help the man, police said.
"He then asked them if they wanted to 'make some money' and offered them $100 to watch him masturbate," police said.
One of the girls told police she refused and walked away but the man pleaded with her and offered her $200.
Police said the man never got out of his vehicle.
Police said eight juvenile and five adult female victims have been identified so far.
On Thursday afternoon, police said they arrested Duston Ridner, 43, on suspicion of obscenity, attempted indecent exposure and soliciting for prostitution.
KRDO-TV reported that records show Ridner is an active-duty soldier at Fort Carson.
