Frontier brings back service to Colorado Springs

Frontier Airlines is bringing back service to Colorado Springs.

The airline is going to start a daily flight from Colorado Springs to Las Vegas in April.

"On behalf of the City of Colorado Springs, I am honored to be the first to say Welcome Back to our great city," said Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers. "We are extremely proud to partner with Frontier Airlines and we are committed to the success of your business and to meeting the needs of all our air service customers."

To kick off the service, Frontier is offering introductory fares starting at $19 one-way. However, Frontier charges extra for checked baggage, carry-on bags, seat assignments and drinks.
