Firefighters rescued a driver trapped in a minivan after a crash Wednesday night.
Colorado Springs police said the driver ran off the side of the road and into a wooded area on Constellation Dr., near Bear Creek Regional Park.
Firefighters had to break a window to fight the fire spreading into the passenger compartment while others got the driver out, according to KRDO-TV.
The driver was treated at the hospital for minor injuries, police said.
It's suspected that the driver had a medical issue which caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
