Colorado Avalanche send prescription for symptoms caused by 'Cardiac Kids'

DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche lived up to their nickname, the Cardiac Kids, again Saturday night.

Rookie Nathan MacKinnon scored the winning goal 3:27 into overtime Saturday night, helping the Avalanche rally for a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild.

Before the game, the Avalanche tweeted a "prescription" for fans with the following symptoms:

-- Shortness of breath

-- Hoarse voice

-- Mumbling incoherently about "the cup"

It appears the Avalanche deleted the tweet Sunday morning but we were able to capture the attachment.

Fans may need a refill before the Avs go back to Minnesota for Game 6 on Monday.
