Voters in Colorado in November will be asked if they want to legalize marijuana for recreational use.

The Colorado Secretary of State has cleared a legalization initiative, making Colorado the second state after Washington with a legalization question on the fall ballot.

Colorado voters will be asked whether pot should be legal for adults over 21 even without a doctor's recommendation.

Legalization supporters in Colorado were given additional time to collect signatures because too many signatures on their first petition were deemed invalid.

Colorado voters rejected a similar legalization measure in 2006.
