GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Used Christmas trees are getting a second use in western Colorado.

A ranch owner is collecting the used trees to feed her goats through the long winter months.

Teresa Fletcher of the Top of the Hill Ranch says her goats can't get out to the pasture this year and the trees are helping them survive.

According to KJCT-TV, the pine, balsam fir, hemlock, spruce and other evergreens contain vitamins and nutrients that the animals need.
