Cat Lost In Ceiling At Rocky Mountain Regional Airport

Achilles Got Into Ceiling While Owners Relaxed In Pilot's Lounge

The search is on to find a cat lost in the ceiling at Rocky Mountain Regional Airport in Broomfield.

Achilles, an exotic Bengal cat, flies with its owners, who are both pilots.

The couple flew into RMRA and were relaxing in the pilot's lounge with the cat when it suddenly disappeared into a hole in the ceiling.

"You can hear the cat in the ceiling, but people can't get into the ceiling because of how it is constructed," said Trish Reynolds, Achilles' owner's sister.

Reynolds said the ceiling is divided into different areas.

Achilles' owners flew back home to Maryland, but the Reynolds live in Colorado. Reynolds' husband is at the airport trying to coax the cat out.

He's using food, bells and other items to try to get the cat, Reynolds told 7NEWS.
