Broncos fans will get their first shot at seeing quarterback Peyton Manning taking snaps at Sports Authority Field at Mile High when the team hosts their third annual Summer Scrimmage on Saturday.
Gates to the scrimmage open at 3:30 p.m. and it is scheduled begin at 3:50 p.m.
Admission and parking to the scrimmage is free as parking will be available in all stadium lots. There will be overflow parking in the Auraria Campus and the Pepsi Center but you may have to pay for parking in those lots.
Broncos officials warn fans that parking in the neighborhood streets surrounding the stadium is strictly prohibited and your vehicle could be ticketed and towed.
Expect to arrive to the stadium early to avoid delays as a large crowd is expected. In the past two years, almost 40,000 people attended the scrimmage including a record crowd of 20,782 in 2010.
The practice will have several live periods, simulating real game situations.
Other than the scrimmage, there will be plenty of other activities available. Fans can grab an autograph from former Broncos players or from Broncos cheerleaders at Gates 8 and 9 from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Also, a Broncos Kids Zone will be set up starting at 2:30 p.m. at the Sports Legends Mall at the south entrance of the stadium with inflatables, Gatorade Jr. Training Camp and autographs from Denver Broncos cheerleaders and Miles the Mascot for kids.
Entry into the stadium will be through Gates 4, 9, and 10.
