PUEBLO, Colo. - At least five Beulah firefighters have quit the department, saying they don't have faith in new Beulah Fire Chief Bryan Ware because of his arrest record.

Ware was named chief this year by the new Beulah Fire Protection and Ambulance District board.

Ware came to Colorado after serving a year's probation in Huron, Ohio, for a 2009 misdemeanor after he sent a photo of male genitals to a group of recipients, including a minor. In 2006, Ware was cited for providing alcohol to minors at a party.

Ware tells the Pueblo Chieftain the firefighters are upset because he fired one firefighter and five others resigned.
