PARKER, Colo. - Parker police are investigating the attempted abduction of an 8-year-old from the Canterberry subdivision.
Police said it happened just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday on Broadmoor Drive. They said the child was approached by a white male in a black, four-door sedan. The male told the boy to get in the car. Instead the child told his parents, who called police.
Officers talked to neighbors who said the car was driven by a white male wearing a light-colored striped dress shirt. There was also a teen girl in the car, they said.
Police released a surveillance photo of the vehicle approaching a stop sign in the neighborhood.
If you have seen the vehicle, or have any information, you are asked to call the Parker Police Department at 303-841-9800.
