A 13-year-old Aurora girl says a man attempted to abduct her as she was walking to school Thursday.According to police, the girl was walking in the 17200 block of East Brown Circle at about 7:15 a.m. when a man asked her to help him find his dog. When the girl told him she had to go to school, the man grabbed her by the wrist and attempted to pull her toward his van, police said.The girl got away and notified teachers at her school. Police checked the area but were unable to find the man.Police said the man is between 20 and 40 old, more than 6 feet tall, with blond hair, crooked teeth and a thin build. He may have an injury to one of his hands.The vehicle he was driving was a white Chrysler or Dodge minivan, police said.Anyone with any information is encouraged to call Detective Chris Fanning at 303-739-6096.
