A contest to encourage art and celebrate animals

Denver - It's a nationwide children's art contest aimed at encouraging creativity and celebrating animals.

You can create a lasting memory of your family pet while showcase a work of art with the Kong Picture Perfect Pets Children's Art Contest.

Children in grades one through six are encouraged to draw, color or paint their favorite pet. It does not have to be a household pet.

Entries need to be on one 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper and can be done with pencils, crayons, pen/ink, pastels, charcoal, watercolors, or acrylics. All entries must be postmarked by November 30, 2012. 

Winners can receive up to $100, plus other prizes.
