Denver santa clause shop in need of donations

For 82 years the Denver Santa Claus Shop has been on a mission to make sure every boy and girl gets a toy for Christmas. This year, the all-volunteer, nonprofit group expects to serve 17,000 Denver County children.

You can drop off new or "gently loved" toys for children ages infant through 11 years old at:

  • Metro area King Soopers through this Friday, November 30

  • Denver Mattress stores through December 12

Families in need are referred to the Santa shop through various social service agencies and groups.

Parents receive a 100-point "Gift Certificate" worth 100 points for each child

Toys are valued from 5 points to 100 points, so parents can choose 1 "big-ticket" toy or several smaller toys for each child

Upcoming events that benefit the Shop:

Bring a toy to the Saturday Dec. 1 Cutthroats Hockey game and receive a Buy-one-Get-one free ticket for that game.

So Rewarding is hosting a "Santa Social"  Tuesday , December 4th at The Dive Inn on South Broadway..

Denver Young Professionals' 4th Annual Holiday Event & Toy Drive is at Spill Lounge on December 12
