Arapahoe High School students reunited with their parents after evacuations

CENTENNIAL, Colo. - Sheriff Grayson Robinson says the students of Arapahoe High School have all been reunited with their families.

The students were all evacuated to the athletic fields and later to one of two reunification sites, Euclid Middle School at 777 W Euclid Ave. and Shepherd of the Hills Church at 7691 South University Blvd. At those locations, parents waited in line to pick up their children.

The school district posted online, "All school activities scheduled for tonight have been cancelled.  Schools are communicating with their individual school communities about activities throughout the rest of the weekend."

Classes will not be held at the high school Monday.

Arapahoe High School is located at 2201 East Dry Creek Road in Centennial.
