COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The man believed to be involved in several adult bookstore robberies is under arrest in Colorado Springs.

Joseph Edwards, 36, was arrested about 6:55 p.m. Tuesday without incident in Colorado Springs by members of the Denver Police Department, Colorado Springs Police Department and the Fugitive Location and Apprehension Group.

Edwards was being held on a Denver warrant for robbery. His capture was a collaborative effort of many metro-area law enforcement agencies.

"We're pleased we have this guy in custody," said Detective John White, a Denver police spokesman. "We believe he's involved with the robberies, and we're not looking for additional suspects at this point in time."

Edwards is suspected of seven robberies, five of them in Denver, since July 24. He is being held for investigation of aggravated robbery.
