Parker, 62, of Rowlett, Texas, was killed by a boulder Sunday as he drove a Jeep on a scenic but winding high-country road. The Colorado State Patrol said that Parker died instantly when the large rock crashed through the top of the Jeep, striking him in the head.
Passenger Nancy Ingle, 56, also of Rowlett, saved her own life by grabbing the steering wheel of the Jeep to keep it from going over the edge of a 300-foot drop.
