DENVER -- Denver police are investigating the slaying of a man in Northeast Denver that occurred early Sunday morning.

Police arrived at 47th and Lincoln Street around 1:15 a.m. and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Denver Health Medical Center where he later died.

Police said the victim was at a party at 47th and Lincoln Street when he began to flash gang signs at another person. The victim was then shot. Police are searching for the suspect.
