DILLON, Colo. -- Authorities in the mountain town of Dillon are hoping that the public can help identify a boy who appears to be bound with duct tape in a mysterious photograph.
The boy, who police estimate is about 8 or 9 years old, appears to be lying on the ground, bound at the wrists and ankles with tape. The location where the photo was taken was unknown.

A couple discovered the photo Aug. 12 lying on the ground near a Gart's Sporting Goods store on Highway 6 in Dillon, authorities said.
The picture was developed at a City Market next-door to the Gart's store, using one-hour film developing, according to police.
Investigators said that they have been unable to find the person who brought the film in for developing because store records were incomplete.
Dillon police detectives said that they have shown the photo to National Forest Service officials and local landscapers to see if the location in the picture can be identified, but little has been learned.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Dillon police were also planning to take the picture to Colorado State University to see if experts there could identify the plants in the photo and narrow the location down to a specific area or region.
Anyone with information was asked to call Dillon police at (970) 468-6078.
