More Bears Sighted In Jefferson County
Bear Reports Keep Deputies Hopping

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. -- There were two more black bear sightings reported in Jefferson County Thursday morning.
The first was in Ken Caryl Ranch, near Ken Caryl Avenue and C-470. This location is just a few blocks from Bradford Elementary school.
A second bear sighting was reported in Bergen Park. Jefferson County deputies searched the area around the 2200 block of Island Point at the Hiwan Country Club.
In both cases, they said that the bears apparently left the area and they discontinued their searches.
