A 21-year-old man is in jail after he admitted to exposing himself six times at businesses in Arapahoe County, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday. The suspect, whom victims described as 'pale' and 'Gothic-looking,' had exposed himself five times at the Darque Tan business since September 2005 and once at design firm on April 11, authorities said.David Joseph Jobin was booked into the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Detentions Facility with a $1,750 bond. He faces six misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure.
The suspected serial flasher's latest incident occurred on April 11. A woman working at a design on the 6000 block of South Spruce Street, said when she was working in her office when she heard a knock on the front window. She went to the door, opened it and saw a white man standing outside. She asked him if he needed help and he said, "No, I just wanted to show you this."She told deputies that he was exposing himself and masturbating. She closed the door and called a coworker on the second floor. While she was on the phone, she heard another knock on the window and called 911. The suspect fled in an unknown direction. The woman described the man as a white, with very pale skin, approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with straight black hair wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and black pants.Deputies canvassed the area but couldn't find anyone. However, a clerk at the Shamrock Station at 7799 East Arapahoe Road said a man fitting that description was in the store approximately an hour earlier and stops in on a regular basis.Deputies looked at the store's surveillance tapes and wondered if it was the same man who had exposed himself five times at Darque Tan, located at 8006 East Arapahoe Road. The description of the suspect was the same, and the areas where the incidents occurred weren't too far from one another, authorities said.Deputies conducted a surveillance of the area of 8006 East Arapahoe Road and contacted Jobin. His picture was taken and put in a photographic lineup. The woman from design firm picked Jobin out of the photographic lineup as the man who exposed himself to her on April 11.On Wednesday, during interrogation, Jobin confessed to the above indecent exposure as well as the previous five indecent exposures at the Darque Tan, authorities said.
