Denver Officer Injured In Accident

Motorcycle Officer Taken To Hospital

A Denver police motorcycle officer was injured Tuesday morning when he was hit by another vehicle at Speer Boulevard and Lawrence Street. A second motorcycle officer was not injured.

The officer was taken to Denver Health Medical Center in undetermined condition, but officers at the accident location said he had a broken bone.

Police cordoned off the area and traffic was backed up on Speer Boulevard.

The accident happened at shortly before 9 a.m.
