June 16, 2001: Replies Columbine Editorial
Our recent editorial called on the Governor to appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate a possible Columbine cover-up. Here are your replies.
Anonymous,
?I feel the Governor should appoint a special prosecutor if that will help him pry loose the truth from Sheriff Stonewall."
Kathleen Tanner, ?In this day and age when you have lawyers biting at every single person who thinks somebody has done something wrong. I don't blame Sheriff John Stone one little bit for not answering questions.?
Susan Frye, I think we need to investigate the columbine affair more. It does seem to me that there's a lot of cover-up. Or at the very least that we need better support for Jefferson County and better leadership for our sheriff's department.?
Sue, ?I think that a special prosecutor from the State of Colorado, yes, should be appointed to be investigated further.?
