2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival

What: Corn lovers of all ages will love the Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival in downtown Loveland.  This family-friendly event will include a parade, team corn shucking and corn eating contests, live music, face painting, rubber duck races, a variety of vendors, plus all the corn you can eat.   

Where:  Downtown Loveland, at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and 4th Street

When:  Friday: 5 p.m.-10 p.m. and Saturday: 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

Boulder’s Bluegrass Music Festival

What:  Bring the family for a day of non-stop music in the Gardens of the Millennium Harvest House.  Listen to some of Boulder’s finest Bluegrass bands, including featured headliner Long Road Home.  Also enjoy food, drinks, lawn games and face painters.

Aurora Global Fest 2014

What: Celebrate Aurora’s international community at the first city-coordinated Global Fest.  A wide variety of cultural experiences and artistic expression will be on display throughout the festival.  The main stage will feature back-to-back performances including salsa dancing, Chinese lion dancing, the Korean Children’s Choir, mariachi bands, Filipino folk dancing, and the Cleo Parker Robinson dance troop.  And be sure to check out the diverse assortment of ethnic food vendors and world beer market.

USA Pro Challenge Denver Finish Festival

What: Witness history as the most challenging bike race on American soil finishes in the heart of downtown Denver.  Beginning in Boulder, the final stage will travel through Golden and finish with three lightning-fast laps around the Colorado State Capitol.  Come early to find a good spot to watch, and enjoy the festival events prior to the race finish including the Lifeblood 5K, the Strider Race and Maxxis Stunt Show.  The awards ceremony and free festival will continue in Civic Center Park following the race.
