NORTHGLENN, Colo. -- Police in Northglenn were investigating an apparent murder-suicide overnight Monday.

Officers were called to the 11700 block of Claude Court at about 7:16 p.m. on a report of a shooting.

A 17-year-old girl told police that she came home to find her mother and a man shot in the head. Both were dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

The bodies were found lying on a bed in the home and a small revolver was found in the bedroom.
