Exposed Workers Talk About Their Concerns
Workers disturbed ceiling tiles containing asbestos while renovating part of the school last summer.
Monday, school officials told 7NEWS that no students had been in the school during the work project. That claim changed on Tuesday, though.
"Yesterday was the first time that we heard that students may have been involved in the area. That's where we're launching an investigation," Barb Davis, of Boulder Valley Schools, said.
After the school officials noticed the tiles had been moved, they sealed off the area and brought in experts to test the air. No asbestos was found.
