Postal Workers Seize Ecstasy In Highlands Ranch

Numerous Large Boxes Stir Suspicions

A large number of large boxes sent to one Highlands Ranch home has led to an ecstasy bust.

Ecstasy Suspects

Postal inspectors became suspicious of the house on the 1000 block of East Cobblestone Drive when a large number of boxes kept arriving to the same address, authorities said.

On Tuesday, postal inspectors intercepted a package and discovered 800 tablets of suspected ecstasy, 7NEWS reported.

Douglas County sheriffs raided the house and seized an additional 40 tablets of ecstasy, according to a press release.

Anh Viet Nguyen, 20, and Quoc Tan Diep, 58, (pictured, above) were arrested. Both are from Ontario, Canada.

Authorities said that Nguyen was in the United States as a student.

The amount of drugs seized have a street value of about $21,000, according to Douglas County investigators.

The U.S. Postal Service works with the Drug Enforcement Administration on an ongoing multi-state investigation into drug rings in Colorado, officials said.
