Cab Driver Killed In I-225 Accident
Van Struck Semi Head-On

AURORA, Colo. -- Police have identified the driver of a Yellow Cab who was killed in a traffic accident on Interstate 225 Wednesday morning.According to police, Vladimiar Anosov of Aurora, Colo., was driving a Plymouth Voyager cab southbound on I-225 at 9:09 a.m., when it slowed for traffic. The Voyager was struck from behind by a Buick Century driven by Sergio Hernandez, also of Aurora.Witnesses told police that the impact knocked the Voyager across the median and northbound lanes where it went onto an embankment. The Voyager then came back onto the northbound lanes where it struck the front of an International semi-trailer driven by Robert Henninger Jr. of La Veta, Colo.
Police said that the semi had also slowed for traffic and was almost at a complete stop when it was struck by the Voyager.Anosov was pronounced dead at the scene and an investigation is under way to determine if any charges will be filed in the case.Police have not said if the accident was weather related.
