Silvia Johnson was booked into the Jefferson County jail following her release from the hospital.

More Charges Filed Against 'Cool Mom'

Silvia Johnson's Legal Woes Mount

Jefferson County prosecutors have filed more charges against a woman already facing up to 58 years in prison for having sex with high school boys and providing them with alcohol and drugs.

Silvia Johnson, 41, now faces new charges of violating bail bond conditions and violating a protective order.

The new charges stem from a car accident in late September in which Johnson was a passenger in a Jeep Liberty that rolled over after the 14-year-old female driver tried to change lanes and drove off an embankment on Interstate 25 south of Castle Rock.

Johnson's 14-year-old daughter, her 11-year-old son and a 12-year-old boy also were in the car. All five people were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.

Prosecutors said Johnson was barred by a restraining order from having contact with her children. The Colorado State Patrol said it was also weighing charges in connection with the accident because Johnson allegedly allowed a 14-year-old girl to drive. The accident happened the day before Johnson was to be sentenced in the original case.

Johnson pleaded guilty last July in the original case. She was accused of providing marijuana, methamphetamine and alcohol to eight Arvada West High School boys, ages 14 to 17, at parties she hosted in her home between the fall of 2003 and September 2004. She allegedly told police she did it because she wanted to be known as a "cool mom."

Johnson is scheduled to be sentenced in the first case on Nov. 14.

She is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on bonds totaling $550,000.

The new charges she faces include two counts of felony violation of bail bond conditions, two misdemeanor counts of violating bail bond conditions and two misdemeanor counts of violating a protective order.
