UPDATED: 3:24 pm MDT October 7, 2005

A man who says he remembers nothing about the night his mother was killed has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

Jeremy Moss, 32, said he got drunk and passed out the night his 52-year-old mother died last June.

The arrest affidavits show Rosemary Borak was severely beaten. Investigators said she had bruises and other injuries on her face, neck, torso and legs and they found blood in the home she and Moss shared.

They said they found what appeared to be blood on Moss' clothes and body.

Moss faces a 16- to 48-year prison term at a sentencing hearing Dec. 19.
