Denver Man Arrested In Child Sex Assault At Church
Investigators: There May Be More Than One Victim

DENVER -- Denver police arrested a man Thursday for sexually assaulting a child at a local church.Police said that the Sex Crimes Unit arrested Julio Aservi, 40, and that he was being held under a $75,000 bond.According to the arrest affidavit, there were three alleged sexual assaults on the same girl at the Denver Family Church in southwest Denver. The girl was staying at the pastor's house while her parents were at work, according to police.
"As part of the preliminary investigation, it has been reported that Julio Aservi could be responsible for assaulting more than one victim," a press release from the police department stated.The church is located at West Florida Avenue and South Zuni Street.Anyone with additional information that could assist with this investigation was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
