RTD Trains, DIA Flights To London See No Delays

RTD Says There's No Directive To Beef Up Security

Thursday morning's attacks in London had little effect on local Regional Transportation District lightrail trains.

RTD is operating under heightened alert. RTD officials say there are signs posted at stations and on trains, informing passengers they are encouraged to alert RTD or police if they see anything suspicious.

RTD said it's received no directive to beef up security on RTD bus routes.

Nonstop British Airways flights between Denver International Airport and London don't begin until Thursday evening so it could be awhile before there is any word of possible flight cancellations or delays.

Four separate explosions hit buses and subways in London between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Mountain Standard Time.

A U.S official says the death toll stands at 37, with at least 700 people injured.

Air travel to other cities from DIA appear unaffected.
