No Injuries; Both Planes Taken Out Of Service

POSTED: 2:08 pm MDT May 17, 2005

Two United Airlines 737 jets were pulled from service Tuesday after they "clipped wings" at Denver International Airport.

A United spokesman said the two jets were being pushed back from their gates when their wings hit.

There was no major damage and no injuries as a result of the accident. The planes were pushed back to the gates and the passengers disembarked.

One flight was bound for Minneapolis and that flight was canceled. The other flight was bound for San Jose, Calif., and passengers were put on a different plane.
