FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Fort Collins police have arrested two suspects in a fatal Greeley shooting Friday morning.Police Sergeant Dave Haywood says the suspect was arrested at about 2 a.m. after he ran from a stolen SUV that crashed into a tree in Fort Collins.The second suspect escaped, but later turned himself in, police said.
Greeley police say a man in his 30s was shot and killed after suspects barged into his north Greeley apartment. Investigators don't know what the motive was. A Fort Collins officer spotted an SUV that was seen leaving the Greeley apartment complex. The SUV crashed into a tree while trying to elude the officers.Authorities haven't released the names of the victim or the suspects. The Greeley police gang unit is part of the investigation, but officers haven't said whether the shooting was gang-related.
