A woman whose body was found in the Sigma Pi fraternity house has been identified as Samantha Spady, 19, of Beatrice, Neb., said police spokeswoman Rita Davis.

Spady was a CSU student, according to the university.

An autopsy conducted Monday found no sign of foul play, but indicated alcohol may have been a factor in the death. The coroner's office was waiting for the results of toxicology tests that won't be available until later in the week, in order to determine how Spady died.

Spady's fully-clothed body was found by a Sigma Pi fraternity member in an empty room of the fraternity house on Sunday evening.

No evidence of alcohol or drugs was found near the body, according to police. They are trying to determine her last movements and find out how she ended up in the room.

The frat house is located at at 709 Wagner Drive.

A CSU spokesman said the university was shocked and saddened by the death.

"The university will continue to work closely with Fort Collins police and will take appropriate action pending results of the investigation," said Linda Kuk, the vice president for student affairs. "(The) administration is very concerned about the situation and has sent counselors to help university students and families affected by this tragedy."
