Police Searching For Man In Fatal Hit-And-Run

Thornton police are searching for the driver of a Ford Explorer who fled the scene after he slammed into a motorcycle, killing a 32-year-old biker.

Justin John Steven Goodman was killed when his motorcycle was hit by an SUV driver who fled the scene.

Police say Justin John Steven Goodman, of Denver, was thrown off his motorcycle and died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet, Thornton police said.

Goodman was heading westbound on 88th Avenue when an eastbound SUV turning left at Colorado Boulevard struck the motorcycle and took off, police said. This happened just before 9 p.m.

Police released this composite picture of the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Thornton.

Witnesses describe the driver of the SUV as a Hispanic man in his mid-to-late 20s with a stocky build. The SUV police are searching for is a 1990s model Ford Explorer. It is red and now has left front fender and grill damage. It is also missing a left front headlight.
