The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is working with the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in tracking down nearly 30 guns stolen from a gun shop in Sheridan.
Pawn One has offered a $20,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the robbers.
The robbery took place around 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Pawn One shop on the 3300 block of Federal Boulevard. The robbery was captured on 16 surveillance cameras. The video shows six heavily armed Hispanic men storming into the store, smashing display cases and stealing about 30 guns along with some jewelry.Five employees were inside during the robbery. The gunman forced one customer to the ground but didn't injure the man.A few hours after the robbery, the men's getaway car, a white Suburban, was located in Denver. The gunmen, however, were nowhere to be found.Detectives believe the guns will be sold to gang members. The robbers are considered armed and very dangerous, especially since they robbed the store armed with assault weapons and sawed-off shotguns.Anyone with more information is asked to call the Sheridan police (303) 762-221 or (303) 762-2040.
