Rescuers Searching For Injured Dog's Owner

'Emily' Has Broken Spine, Pelvis

Three good Samaritans are trying to find the owner of a dog that was hit by a car and seriously injured earlier this month.

The dog they've named Emily was hit near Sheridan Boulevard and 5th Avenue in Denver on Jan.14.

Emily's spine and pelvis were broken.

She had no tags and no microchip, so the three rescuers are now asking for the public's help to find her owner and pay for her surgery. If Emily's owner isn't found, the rescuers said they will find a good home for her.

Emily is being cared for at the Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital in Englewood. To learn more about Emily and help pay for her care, visit the hospital's website.
