DENVER -- Tebow Mania continues as we get closer to the Denver Broncos - New England Patriots matchup on Sunday.

The talk started more than 10 days ago when NBC asked to "flex" or move the afternoon game from CBS to Sunday Night Football. Ultimately, the NFL decides whether games will be flexed and decided to leave the Broncos-Patriots game on CBS in its original time slot.

CBS responded by saying it would send its No. 1 play-by-play man, Jim Nantz, and analyst Phil Simms to Denver for the game, according to AzCentral.com

Sports Illustrated Cover, Again

Tim Tebow mania is getting so loud across the country that Sports Illustrated put Tebow on its cover this week for the second time in three weeks.

The Dec. 13 cover story features Tebow on the field with the headline, "Tebow! Amazing, Incredible, Phenomenal, Mind-Blowing, Incomprehensible, Unbelievable..."

The story is about how "Tim Tebow has led the Broncos from 1-4 to the division lead with the craziest, most unlikely eight-week run in NFL history."

ESPN Tim Tebow Special

ESPN is changing its programming on ABC-TV this Saturday. At 2 p.m. on Denver's 7, we will feature an hour-long ESPN special called "Tim Tebow: Everything In Between."

The documentary will feature a behind-the-scenes look at Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Tim Tebow before he became a Denver Bronco.

The documentary follows Tebow from the Sugar Bowl to the night of the 2010 NFL Draft as he works to convince skeptics that he can continue his success at the professional level.

While the special has aired several times on ESPN, this will be the program's first airing on ABC.

Students Suspended For Tebowing

Two New York high school athletes have been flagged with a penalty for paying tribute to Tebow.

Twin brothers, Connor and Tyler Carroll, got students together at Riverhead High School to "tebow" in between classes. Tebowing is to get down on a knee and start praying, even if everyone else around you is doing something completely different.

The brothers said they and their friends did this demonstration in the hall at school in between classes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the boys were suspended for one day because school officials said the Tebow tribute posed a safety hazard by blocking others from getting to class.

Super Bowl?

Jockey is already hoping to see its spokesman, Tim Tebow, in the Super Bowl.

The company said if the Denver Broncos win the Super Bowl on Feb. 5, 2012, Jockey will give away $1 million worth of Jockey products to 40,000 fans who enter the company's Super Bowl contest, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal.

The newspaper said one person will win $15,000 in honor of Tebow's jersey number.

Pro Bowl Voting

It's not too late to get Tim Tebow to the Pro Bowl. Fans can still vote for Tebow on the NFL's Pro Bowl website.

Rick Perry Says He's Tebow Of Caucuses

Rick Perry said he wants to be the Tim Tebow of the Iowa caucuses.

At Thursday's debate in Iowa -- the last before voters in the state vote Jan. 3 -- Perry said that, like the Denver Broncos quarterback, he's been underestimated.

"There are a lot of folks that said Tim Tebow wasn't going to be a very good NFL quarterback," Perry said. "There are people who said he didn't have the right throwing mechanism, or that he doesn't play the game right. And he won two national championships. And that looked pretty good. And we're national champions of job creation back in Texas."

What Does Tim Say?

"I don’t turn on my TV too often right now. It’s exciting to be a part of, not because of all the hype or anything, but just to be a part of a team that has such great camaraderie and great chemistry and cares about each other, works together and supports each other -- offense, defense, special teams. That’s definitely something special, and I’m blessed to just be a part of it -- and very thankful as well," Tebow said on Wednesday.

"There is definitely a lot of hype around it [the Patriots game] now, which is a good thing if you use it as momentum and fuel," Tebow said. "Obviously, we know our crowd will be fired up for this game on Sunday, and that will definitely be exciting. But bottom line is, you have to kind of try to block it out and just try to focus one day at a time and try to improve and get a little bit better."
