3 Hurt In Head-On Crash In Golden Gate Canyon

One Lane Getting By At Robinson Hill Road

*UPDATE* One lane of traffic is now getting around a head-on crash on Golden Gate Canyon Road at Robinson Hill Road, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

A 1989 Oldsmobile sedan and a 1995 Honda Accord collided about 8 miles from Highway 93 on Tuesday morning at 5:30 a.m.

Video from Airtracker 7 showed one vehicle on the road with extensive front-end damage.

A second vehicle went over the embankment and into the nearby trees.

Three people were hurt in the crash. One of the victims may have life-threatening injuries, according to Sgt. Mike Baker with the Colorado State Patrol.

All three people were taken to St. Anthony's Hospital.
