Police Seek Serial Hotel Robber Who Wears Masks
Gunman Wears Halloween Masks During Robberies

DENVER -- Denver police are investigating a serial hotel robber who has hit hotels in Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Golden and Greenwood Village wearing Halloween masks.Two of the hotels that were robbed are in Denver: the La Quinta at 1975 S. Colorado Blvd. and the Quality Inn at 3975 Peoria St., police said Wednesday.The robberies occurred between Aug. 28 and Sept. 6.
The robber hits between 10 p.m. and midnight and is known to wear different masks, including a Jason hockey mask, a scary skull, a bloody clown and a green mask, said Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson.The robber wears gloves and is armed with a gun, Jackson said. He is between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches, with a slim build, he said. There is no vehicle description to go with the robber.Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
