Man Arrested After Car Parks In His Driveway

An Englewood, Colo., man is under arrest after police said he threatened a woman with a gun after she parked in his driveway.Police were called to the 2700 block of Lincoln Street Sunday afternoon after a woman said that she and her friend pulled into a driveway near a house they were visiting because there was no parking available on the street.The woman told police she ran to a neighbor's house to retrieve her cell phone that she forgot.
A passenger in the woman's car said a man came out of the house and told her to move the car from his driveway or he would get his gun.The passenger told police that the man went into his house and came out with a silver handgun, loading it as he yelled for her to move the car. That's when the driver returned and they drove way.Police arrested Daniel Purdy, 40, a short time later and recovered a silver handgun. Purdy was frustrated with parking problems on his block, police said.Purdy was charged with menacing with a handgun and booked into the Arapahoe County Jail.
