300K Celebrate Denver Pridefest
Two-Day Festival Culminates With March To Civic Center Park

DENVER -- "A day that you don't have to be afraid to be who you are."That's how one Denver Pridefest participant described Sunday's celebration of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.About 120 groups participated in a 2-mile parade that began in Cheesman Park Sunday morning and ended near Civic Center Park.
The two-day festival was expected to draw about 300,000 people.
