Former Bronco Arrested For Breaking, Entering

Kay Accused Of Breaking Into Ex-Girlfriend's Home

UPDATED: 12:19 pm MST January 25, 2004

A former Denver Bronco is behind bars, accused of breaking and entering.

Police say Clarence Kay broke into his ex-girlfriend's house Friday night after the two were drinking and had a fight.

Kay was telling Aurora police officers about the fight when halfway through the explanation, he went back to his ex-girlfriend's home.

Shortly thereafter, the woman called police to tell them that Kay was breaking into her house through a window. When officers showed up, they found Kay inside and a broken screen.

He was arrested on burglary charges.
