I-70 Closed Near Georgetown

Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed for a couple of hours Tuesday morning because of several car accidents between Mile Marker 231 and 232, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.Cars were detoured to a frontage road near mile marker 228, which takes travelers to Idaho Springs or US Highway 40, 7NEWS reported.The lanes were reopened at a bout 11:30 a.m.
One person was taken to a local hospital. His or her condition is not known.
