Teen Faces Vehicular Homicide Charge In Fatal Car Crash
One Boy Killed; 5 Teens Injured

DENVER -- Authorities say a Northglenn teenager driving a car that crashed and killed a passenger and injured five others will face a vehicular
homicide charge.
Investigators say 19-year-old James Lindsey was driving 70 mph in a 35 mph zone when he lost control and crashed early Saturday.
State Patrol spokesman Don Moseman says 17-year-old Mike Alves, of Westminster, was killed when he flew from the back seat into the front.Five teens inside the car, including Lindsay, were injured. He was listed in serious condition at Denver Health Sunday.Jeffery Johnson and Sean Pedroza, both 18, were listed in fair condition. Christina Montoya, 14, is also in fair condition and 15-year-old Robert Keller is in serious condition.Colorado State Patrol troopers say Lindsay was driving a Chevrolet Cavalier on Riverdale Road when he lost control at the "T"
intersection, went off the road and struck several objects, including fence posts, a large abandoned concrete step and some angle iron.Five of the six teens inside the car were not wearing seat belts.No drugs or alcohol are suspected in the crash.
