- Box fan recall: The recall covers Lasko box fans with the model numbers 3720, 3723, and 3733, as well as Galaxy box fans with the number 4733, with a date stamp of "2002-03" or "2003-04." The fans were sold at major retailers nationwide from July 2002 through December 2005 with price tags between 12 and 25 dollars. The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the fans immediately, and contact Lasko at 877-445-1314 for a free safety adapter to attach to the fan's plug.
