Evergreen Student Killed In Car Crash
Charges Against Other Driver Still Pending

A 16-year-old Evergreen High School student was killed Monday night when his car was struck nearly head-on by a sport utility vehicle.
Collin Fisher was westbound on Colorado Highway 74 when a 1998 Chevy Blazer crossed over the centerline near Louis Ridge Road and smashed into his car.
Colorado state troopers said it appeared as if Fisher tried to swerve out of the way but the Blazer struck his 1996 Subaru Impreza on its left side, killing him instantly.The driver of the Blazer, Jana Bulter, 41, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. Anthony's Central Hospital.Charges against Bulter are pending.This crash is still under investigation. Alcohol or drugs are not suspected to have been involved.Less than one week ago, a 17-year-old Niwot High School
student was killed when his vehicle was struck by a school bus near the
high school.
