On Oprah, you saw how she was able to make a difference to children in Africa. Now, there is a group here locally that is also making sure people in Ethopia aren't forgotten. It's called Project Mercy and this year, they collected beads and jewelry making supplies. The Hope Bracelet project created 500 unique bracelets -- 470 of them have already sold at $100 a piece, which is more than most people in Ethiopia make in one year. You can buy the bracelets at Trice jewelers on Colorado at Yale. The group will again be bringing jewelry making supplies to Ethiopia, so if you'd like to donate money to the project, send your check to:
