Jefferson county investigators have a 2-year-old mystery to solve and need the public's help.
A badly decomposed body was found Dec. 20 in a shallow grave near White Ranch Park, north of Golden. Investigators said they believe the unidentified man died almost two years ago.
A sketch of the victim was released Monday morning. The Caucasian man was approximately 35 to 45 years old, and roughly 6 feet tall, authorities said. He had short dark brown hair with a braided "rat tail" in the back which was about 6 inches long. He was wearing five small gold-colored hoops and a stud in his left ear and a single stud in the right ear.The man also had numerous tattoos on his arms, legs and right hand, officials said.
