A badly decomposed body was found Dec. 20 in a shallow grave near White Ranch Park, north of Golden. Investigators said they believe the unidentified man died almost two years ago.

A sketch of the victim was released Monday morning. The Caucasian man was approximately 35 to 45 years old, and roughly 6 feet tall, authorities said. He had short dark brown hair with a braided "rat tail" in the back which was about 6 inches long. He was wearing five small gold-colored hoops and a stud in his left ear and a single stud in the right ear.

The man also had numerous tattoos on his arms, legs and right hand, officials said. The cause of the man's death is still under investigation.

If you can help investigators identify the victim, call the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office at (303) 271-5631 or the Jefferson County Coroner's Office at (303) 271-6480.
