UPDATED: 10:58 am MST February 24, 2011

A man riding his bicycle was hit by a car Tuesday night in Grand Junction, then ticketed.

The Colorado State Patrol told KKCO-TV the cyclist admitted he had been drinking and using marijuana before the crash.

The cyclist was ticketed for not having reflectors on his bicycle at night and will face charges of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs, the TV station reported.

The driver of the car received a ticket for driving without a license.

Neither the cyclist nor the driver of the car were injured in the crash at 29 Road and Dawn Drive.
